Graveside services for Delbert Timmins, 60, of Lorenzo were held Friday, January 16, 1998, at 2 P.M. in the Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor of the Lorenzo First Baptist church officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

Mr. Timmins died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at his home.

He was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Deer Trail, CO. He married Ruth Cox on Oct. 20, 1956, in Littlefield, TX. He moved to Lorenzo in 1977. He was on the Lorenzo Housing Development Board where he also served as President. He was also a member of the Lorenzo Volunteer Fire Department and the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Timmins of Lorenzo; his mother, Florence Timmins of Rutland, MA; a son, Ricky Dale Timmins of Roaring Springs; two daughters, Debbie Merrill of Lorenzo, and Mellony Barker of Ralls; two brothers, Carl Timmins of East Alton, IL, and Larry Timmins of Rutland, MA; a sister, Peggy Dukatnik of Wolfforth; and 13 grandchildren.
