Memorial Services for Frances Terrell, 84, of Crosbyton and formerly Lorenzo were at 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Kelley and the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.

She passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the Crosbyton Hospital.

She was born August 3, 1920 in Lorenzo to the late Arthur Milton and Clara Tierce (Mathis) Lay.

She was a graduate of Lorenzo High School and attended Texas Tech University. On March 9, 1939 she married Marvin Terrell in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1991. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Bridge Club. She had lived in the Lorenzo area all her life. Survivors include two daughters, Tanya Kelsey and her husband Sam and Nikki White all of Lorenzo; three grandchildren: Klley Kelsey and his wife Tonya of Spur, Kezia Walker and her husband Glen of Lorenzo, Shaun White and his wife Suzanne of Lubbock and two great-grandchildren; Ryan Walker of Lorenzo and Marin White of Lubbock.

The family suggests memorials to the Crosby County Veteran's Memorial, which can be made at any of the Crosby County Banks.
