U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Sam Sullivan, 85, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 1987 in the Lorenzo Cemetery with Travis Boyd, minister of the Lorenzo Church of Christ officiating.

Burial was under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mr. Sullivan died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 1987 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born January 23, 1902 in Bailey County, Texas. He married Pearl Brewer December 13, 1945 in Big Spring, Texas. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army. He helped build the Panama Canal. He worked for the Ralls Cotton Compress and also worked for the City of Lorenzo as a night watchman. He moved to Lorenzo in 1969 from Cotton Center.

Survivors include: Wife: Pearl Sullivan of Lorenzo; 1 Brother: Carl Sullivan of Iowa Park, Texas; (1 Son: Buster Sullivan preceded in death in 1964; 1 Daughter: Barbara Sweet preceded in death in 1964.)
