LORENZO (Special) - Services for Clyde Ray Steward, 77, of Lorenzo, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Golden, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Steward died at 4 a.m. Friday at the Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Indian Territory, Oklahoma, he moved to Lorenzo in 1929. He married Pauline Setzer on Oct. 10, 1931, in Altus, Okla. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Cathy Abbott of Denton, Betty Richards of Waco, Peggy Bronson of Woodard, OK, Clydene Cooper of Milan, NM, and Nina Monsey of Hawley; five brothers, King of California, Roy of Paris, TX, Kenneth of Antlers, OK, Tony of Cooper and Billy Dan of Norman, OK; 17 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
