Funeral services for Marian Slain, 63, of Lorenzo were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carter-Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor of Lorenzo First Baptist Church and the Rev. Jerry Klaverweiden of Miami, officiated.Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home
Mrs. Slain died Friday in Crosbyton Clinic after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was a bookkeeper. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She moved to Lorenzo five months ago.
Survivors include a son, Mike of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Vicki Ryder of Alexandria, La. and Marylee Brown of Lorenzo; two brothers, George Armstrong of Auburn, Ind., and Paul Armstrong of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren.
