Opal Self

Services for Mrs. Opal Crabb Self, 69, of Route 7, Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Henderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cordell Bales, pastor of Broadview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Henderson Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Self died at 10:25 a.m. Friday in her home of natural causes.

The Colorado City native moved to Lubbock from Ralls in 1942. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Earlene Stroud of Wolfforth, Mrs. Janie Mandrell of Lubbock, Mrs. Billie Henderson of Conroe and Mrs. Bettye Barker of Lubbock; a son, Leroy of Lubbock, a sister Mrs. Tommie Shirley of Lubbock; 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
