LORENZO (Special) - Services for Mary Mildred Kirksey Sechrist, 81, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Boren, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Sechrist died Monday, April 11, 1994, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.
She was born on March 23, 1913, in Crosby County. She attended Texas Tech University. She married Aaron Sechrist on Dec. 22, 1935, in Lorenzo. He died on April 13, 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include five sons, Albert, Robert and Alvin, all of Lubbock, and Wilton and Gary, both of Lorenzo; three daughters, Alva Arp of Ropesville, Mary Sechrist of Fort Worth and Camellia Deckelman of Lubbock; a sister, Ruby Griffin of Lorenzo; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
