Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Josephine Sechrist, 75, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Methodist Church at Lorenzo. Mr. Bruce Parks, pastor, officiated, assisted by Mr. James Carter, Lockney. Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home, Ralls.Mrs. Sechrist died Monday in a Lubbock hospital shortly after she was admitted. She had been a resident of Lorenzo since 1933.
Survivors are four sons, J.L., Spur, Aaron, Lorenzo, Guy, Ralls, and David, Lockney; three daughters, Mrs. O.L. McElroy and Mrs. S.E. O'Rear, Lorenzo, Mrs. L.G. Caudle, Lubbock; a brother, J.H. Bridges, Delta, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Stranger, Dallas; 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
