Graveside services for Floy Seawright, 93, of Redding, CA, were held at Lorenzo Cemetery at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003. She died Aug. 9, 2003, at her home in Redding, CA.A former resident of Lorenzo, she was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Roscoe, TX, to Hugh and Minnie Smith. She married Robert Seawright in Long Beach, CA. He preceded her in death in 1981. She worked as an accountant. She was a long-time Southern Baptist and was a very active member of the Bonnieview Baptist Church in Redding.
Survivors include a son, Robert Seawright, of Redding; a brother, R.B. Smith of Safford, AZ, four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and other relatives in Crosby County.
