Wilma Scarbrough Wilma Scarbrough, 67, of Lubbock passed away on Friday, March 26, 2004, at her home.

Wilma was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Lynn County, Texas, to Otto and Leolar Watley. She was raised and educated in Lubbock. Wilma married Billy Scarbrough Oct. 9, 1954, in his parents' home north of Lorenzo. They farmed in the Lorenzo area for eight years.

Wilma is survived by her husband; two children, Sheila McCallister and husband Danny of Lubbock and Mike Scarbrough and wife Anita of Nazareth; five grandchildren, Denae, Danica, D.J., Kendra, and Brant; two sisters, Margie Garrett of Ropes and JoAnn Sadler and husband Tom of Lubbock; a brother, Frank Watley and wife Cassie of Lubbock.

Wilma was a Christian, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by both parents and a daughter. Services will be held on Monday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at Redbud Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Baird and Rev. Rick Ketron officiating. Interment will follow in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations are suggested to VistaCare Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
