LORENZO (Special) - Graveside services for Lupe DeLos Santos Samarripas, 67, of Lorenzo will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Ricardo Macias officiating.Burial will be under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died at 1:24 a.m. Monday in Lubbock's Community Hospital after an illness.
She was born in Harlingen and moved to Lorenzo in 1971. She married Vidal Samarripas on Jan. 3, 1937, in Harlingen. He died in 1985. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Paul of Lorenzo, Vidal Jr. of Ralls and Rodolfo of Lubbock; six daughters, Isabel Chave, Lupe Hinojos, Mary Samarripas and Adela Luna, all of Lorenzo, Eva Lopez of Plainview and Sofia Gonzales of Lubbock; a brother, Roselino Perez of Santa Maria; three sisters, Antinoa Cantu and Grevila Cavazos, both of Santa Maria and Luz Camarago of Mercedes; 36 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
