Services for Marguerite Rodgers 70, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 1989, in Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Jantzen of Trinity Church officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday night, Jan. 10, 1989, in South Park Medical Center after a sudden illness.

She was born in Lorenzo and attended Lubbock High School. She married Ray Rodgers on Sept. 18, 1937, in Lubbock. He died in 1982. She was a member of Trinity Church.

Survivors include a son, Rodney of Amarillo; a brother, James Broiles of Bonham; and five grandchildren.
