Services for Jerry Donald Robertson, 71, of Lorenzo will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Inman and Rev. Wes Collins officiating. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Jerry passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born September 29, 1937 in Lubbock to Jake Underwood and Nannie Maye Terrell. On June 9, 1957 he married LaVonna Adams in Lorenzo.
Jerry had lived in Lorenzo most of his life and was a member of the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Lorenzo Masonic Lodge where he was currently serving as Master and had also served in that capacity previously. Jerry served as Crosby County Judge for 12 years, worked at Hurst Farm Supply for 21 years and was general manager of Buffalo Springs Lake for three years.
He is preceded in death by his twin brother Jackie Robertson who passed away on April 20, 1988. Survivors include his wife, LaVonna of Lorenzo, a son, Keith Robertson of Lubbock, a daughter, Karla Isbell of Lorenzo, a brother and his wife, Max and Sharon Robertson of Hico, a sister and her husband, Jean and Jim Phillips of Lubbock, seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
