LORENZO (Special) - Services for Jackie Robertson, 50, of Lorenzo will be at 4 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene Crane, pastor, and the Rev. Jerry Golder, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 1 a.m. Wednesday in Lubbock's St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Lubbock. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Lion's Club and served as past president of the Lorenzo School Board. He married Peggy Herrington on June 24, 1956, in Lorenzo. He was past president of the Lorenzo Grain Coop. He was a member of the Lorenzo Emergency Medical Service, Lorenzo Fire Department and Lorenzo Civil Defense. He was 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Fist United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David of Cypress; a daughter, Dana Marlar of Lorenzo; his mother, Nannie Maye Batcheller of Lorenzo; two brothers, Jerry of Lorenzo and Max Dale of Waco; a sister, Jean Phillips of Lubbock; and two granddaughters.
