LORENZO (Special) - Rosary for Santiago Vasquez Rios, 81, of Lorenzo will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in San Lorenzo Catholic Church with the Rev. Aidan Maguire, pastor, officiating.Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the same church with the same officiant.
Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Pearsall and moved to Lorenzo in 1957. He married Josefa Rodriquez in Pearsall. He was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert of Plains and Santiago Jr. of Lorenzo; a daughter, Guadalupe R. Piacaso of Lorenzo; a brother, Lorenzo of Pearsall; a sister, Cecilia Rodriquez of Clovis, NM; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
