Services for Juan Rios, 82 year old Crosbytonite, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Officiating was the Rev. Steve Keogeh, pastor of St. Patrick' Catholic Church in Lubbock.Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery.
Mr. Rios was claimed by death at 1:45 a.m. Monday at Crosbyton Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Born July 7, 1903, in Pearsall, he was a farm laborer who had resided in Lorenzo for several years.
Survivors include two brothers, Santiago Rios of Lorenzo and Lorenzo Rios of Pearsall; two sisters, Cecillia Rodriguez of Clovis, NM, and Refugia Martinez of Lubbock.
