Mass for Elvira Valles Reyna, 62, of Lorenzo was held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 20, 1987 in the San Lorenzo Catholic Church with Rev. Adian McGuire, pastor, officiating. Rosary was held Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the church.

Burial followed the Mass in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Reyna was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 1987 at the home of her son, Isidro Reyna north of Lorenzo by Justice of the Peace Jim S. Travis. Natural causes was ruled as the cause of death.

She was born April 17, 1925 in Lampasas and married Antonio Reyna October 5, 1947 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death July 13, 1978. She was a housewife and a member of the San Lorenzo Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Society.

She moved to Lorenzo in 1952 from Lampasas.

Survivors include, five sons, Isidro Reyna of Cone, Jimmy Reyna and Encarnacion of Lorenzo, Albert Reyna and Phillip Reyna, both of Lubbock; seven daughters, Mary Martinez, Virginia Mendoza, Antonio Deleon, Elvira Reyna, all of Lorenzo, Helen Deleon of Lubbock, Barnarda Barron of Whitharral, Margaret Deleon of Abernathy; four brothers, Julio Viles, Felipe Valles, John Valles, Alvino Valles, all of Lampasas; one sister, Lucia Ybarra of Lampasas; 45 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
