Services for Elbert Daniel Rasco, 87, of Littlefield were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 1990 in the Lorenzo Church of Christ with Travis Boyd, retired Church of Christ minister, officiating.

Burial followed in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died at 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 1990 in Littlefield's Knight Nursing home after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Hamilton County. He moved to the Crosby County area in 1929. He married Ruby Cox in Hamilton County; she died in 1951. He was a member of the Church of Christ and Lorenzo Masonic Lodge No. 1028. He was a blacksmith in Lorenzo for several years. A son, El Ray, died on July 1, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Odell of Abernathy; a brother, Gilbert of Baton Rouge, LA; a sister, Bertha McGrew of Bovina; nine grandchildren and great grandchildren.
