LORENZO (Special) Services for Willard Rainwater, 78, of Lorenzo will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Golden, the Rev. Dennis Williams and the Rev. Robert Pryor officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Lorenzo. He married Mary Bradshaw on Oct. 13, 1939, in Spiro, Okla. He attended Estacado schools and lived in the Lorenzo area most of his life. He was a farmer and a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Jessica Mount on Sept. 27, 1995.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ray of Bastrop and Robert Pryor of Austin; two daughters, Judy Wallace of Lorenzo and Loretta Gary of Valley Mills; two brothers, Alford of Lorenzo and Wayne of Doughtery; a sister, Louise Cain of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
