U.S.Flag RALLS (Special) - Services for George Wayne Poulson, 54, of Lorenzo, will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Lorenzo with the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor, and the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor of First Baptist Church in Ralls, officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home here.

Poulson died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Lubbock Methodist Hospital.

The life-long Lorenzo resident married Betty Baggett Feb. 1, 1947 in Lubbock. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was serving on the board of directors for the Owens Coop Gin, the Lorenzo Coop Grain and the Lorenzo Country Club. Formerly president of the Lorenzo school board, he was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church, Lorenzo Masonic Lodge and the Farmers Union.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Sheila) Butterfield of Lubbock and Miss Roxanne Poulson of Austin; a brother, Thomas A. of Lorenzo; two sisters, Mrs. Aubry Smith of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Harold Creswell of Artesia, NM; and three grandchildren.
