Services for Catherin "Cathy" Pittman, 58, of Lubbock will be held 10 a.m. Monday at South Plains Christian Fellowship Church with the Revs. Van Perryman, Rick Oliphint and Mike Benson officiating.Burial will be in the City of Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died, Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 8, 1941, in Cotton Center. She married Ed Pittman, June 7, 1958, in Seminole. She graduated from Lubbock High School and the Hugh Harris Bible School. She was a member of the South Plains Christian Fellowship and the Women for Christ. She was the coordinator of the Senior Citizen Group at South Plains Christian Fellowship. She was a medical secretary for Dr. Gladys Whitten for three years.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Suzi Davis, of Andrews; a son Eddie Pittman, of Midland; six brothers, Cecil Roberts and Charley Roberts, both of Houston, Lloyd Roberts of Tucumcari, NM, Doyle Roberts of Nashville, Tenn., and Troy Roberts of Columbus, Ga.; three sisters; Myrtle White of Cleveland, Doris Hendon of Lubbock and Ruth Turner of Spring; and five grandchildren.
