LORENZO (Special) - Rites are scheduled at 3 p.m. today in the Lorenzo Methodist Church for Rufus Edgar Parchman, 72, a retired farmer who died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital.The Rev. Bruce Parks, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. D.L. Lowrie, Baptist pastor in Lorenzo. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home, Ralls.
A native of Lamar County, Parchman had been a resident of Crosby County since 1908.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Alvin, Lorenzo; a brother, G.W., Lorenzo; a sister, Mrs. W.E. Ragle, Ralls, and four grandchildren.
