Memorial services for Dr. J.M. O'Rear of Lubbock were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lubbock. Interment was made in Lorenzo Cemetery.
Dr. O'Rear, 67, died Saturday night in Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.
The Crosbyton native moved to Lorenzo in 1918. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and Baylor University School of Dentistry.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Jerome O'Rear of Amarillo; two brothers, James O'Rear of Lorenzo and Jack O'Rear of Washington, D.C.; and three grandchildren.
