LORENZO (Special) — Services for Etta O'Rear, 90, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Lorenzo with the Rev. Jerry Klaverweiden, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Sidney Parsley, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Hemlin.
Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home here.
She died at 4 a.m. Sunday in West Texas Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Erath County and married George Tinkle O'Rear there Dec. 15, 1912. He died April 19, 1960. A housewife, she moved to Lorenzo from Erath County in 1918.
She was a member of Lorenzo First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Loretta of Lorenzo; three sons, Roy, S.E. and George Grady, all of Lorenzo; a sister, Maudie Crenshaw of Stephenville; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
