RALLS (Special) Services for Fred A. Nelson, 88, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today in Acuff Church of Christ with Austin Siburt, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home in Ralls.

Nelson died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The Quincy, Ill., native was a retired farmer who had been a South Plains resident since 1922, coming from Dallas. He married Cora Carroll in Grand Prairie Jan. 15, 1913.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Hans of Texas City and Ed of Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Carroll of Irving and Mrs. Emma Perce of Dallas; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
