LORENZO (Special) Services for Cora Ann Nelson, 88, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Acuff Church of Christ with Colis Campbell, minister, officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Nelson, a native of Sheffield, Tenn., died at 1:10 p.m. Monday in University Manor Nursing Home in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
She married Fred A. Nelson Jan. 15, 1913, in Grand Prairie and came to the South Plains from Dallas in 1922. He died in 1977. She was a member of the Acuff Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Hans of Texas City and Ed of Lubbock; two brothers, Ezra Carroll of Gaford and Earnest Carroll of Dallas; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
