Colleen Nash Photo HOUSTON — Services for Colleen Sanders Nash, 53, of Houston will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at White Memorial Chapel in Idalou.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home of Idalou.

She died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002.

She was born March 19, 1949, in Lubbock. She graduated from Hereford High School in 1967 and from Southwestern Oklahoma State with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She married Edward Alton Nash on Nov. 12, 1983, in Portland.

She was an enrolled agent, owning and operating an accounting business in Portland, Houston, Midland and Plano. She was a pilot and played the french horn in several church and civic orchestras. She was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lance of Houston and John of Texarkana; two daughters, Kimberly T. Nash of Houston and Debbie J. Martin of Sidney, Neb.; two brothers, Kevin L. Sanders of Hereford and Roger Sanders of Earth; and a sister, Linda Arbeiter of South Dakota.

The family suggests memorials to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Ovarian Cancer Research Division, 1515 Holcombe Blvd. 82, Houston, TX 77030-4009.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Klein Funeral Home in Houston.

Colleen G. Sanders-Nash, 53, passed away Friday, October 11, 2002, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center after a 15 years fight with ovarian cancer.

Her beautiful smile and genuine desire to help people touched many lives.

She was born on March 19, 1949 in Lubbock, TX to Clayton and Mary Sanders. Colleen was an active member of Champion Forest Baptist Church.

She graduated from Hereford High School in 1967 and from South West Oklahoma State with a B.S. degree in accounting. She was an enrolled agent owning and operating an accounting business in Portland, TX., Houston, Midland and Plano. She was also an accomplished pilot as well as a French horn player, performing in several church and civic orchestras.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Darrol Yearwood formerly of Oklahoma; parents: Clayton and Mary Sanders formerly of Hereford, TX.; grandparents: Orbie and Rillie Nalls formerly of Devol, OK., and Sam and Jo B. Sanders formerly of Idalou, TX.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Edward A. Nash of Houston; her children: Kimberly Nash of Houston, Debbie Martin of Nebraska, Lance Nash of Houston, John Nash of Texarkana; and three grandchildren: a sister, Linda Arbeiter of South Dakota; two brothers: Roger Sanders of Earth, TX. Kevin Sanders of Hereford, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am, Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at Champion Forest Baptist Church.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at White Memorial Chapel to Idalou, TX., with burial immediately following at Lorenzo Cemetery.

Arrangements for the Nash family in Houston and Idalou are under the personal care of White Funeral Home, 701 Main, Idalou, TX., (806) 892-3220.
