LORENZO (Special) - Services for Ruth Moore, 72, of Odessa will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alton West, pastor of the Tokio Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funnel Home in Ralls.

She died at 10 a.m. Monday at her son's residence in Albuquerque, N.M. after a sudden illness. She was pronounced dead of natural causes by a New Mexico medical examiner.

She was a native of Alabama and moved to Lorenzo in 1954 from Lubbock. She lived in Lorenzo until 1973. She married Fate N. Moore March 23, 1940, in Dallas. He died in 1962. She was a bookkeeper and a member of Lorenzo Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gary of Lubbock, Paul of Albuquerque; two daughters, Suzanne Smith of Odessa, Martha Davenport of Breckenridge; a brother, Lester Cameron of Fort Worth; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David, who died in 1972.
