LORENZO (Special) — Services for Clyde A. Moore, 74, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo, with the Rev. Bill Lacy, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Pierson.

Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Moore died Wednesday at Lubbock's St. Mary's Hospital following a lengthy illness.

A Bosque County native, he married Addie Mae Abernathy in Hartley June 5, 1930. He moved to Lorenzo from Hartley in 1936 and was a postal worker for 39 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry of Lorenzo; a daughter, Jean Nettles of Lorenzo; a brother, Elbert of Portales, NM; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Addie Moore Photo Services for Addie Mae Moore,90,of Lorenzo were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams and Michael Matthews officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

She died Saturday,April 26,2003 in Lubbock´s Covenant Medical Center. She was born Dec.24, 1912 in Bosque County, Texas, to John Claude and Annie Tressie Neystel Abernathy. She married Clyde Alfred Moore on June 5, 1930 in Hartley, TX. He preceded her in death on July 18,1979.

She was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church. She worked for the Lorenzo School District in the school cafeteria. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She moved to Lorenzo in 1936 from Hartley.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Nettles who died on Jan. 18, 1987, a brother, Owen Abernathy and a sister, Clara.

Survivors include a son, Larry Moore of Lorenzo; a sister, Jimmie Cox of Munday; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
