Services for Wesley Floyd Miller, 89, of Lorenzo were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1991, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Waylon Bruton, pastor of the Crosbyton Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Miller died at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 1991, in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 25, 1901 in Collin County and married Frances McKinney on April 21, 1944, in Seymour. He moved to Lorenzo in 1937 and was a longtime farmer in the Robertson area. He lived in Crosby County for 54 years. He was a Presbyterian. He is preceded in death by two sons, R. E. Miller and Dennis Harold Miller, and two daughters, Louise Miller Dalback who died in 1953 and Cynthia Miller who died in 1972.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Joe Bob, Dwayne and Donald, all of Gordonville, and Harold of Abernathy; 10 daughters, Tammy Kirksey, Lorie Miller and Shirley Smith, all of Lorenzo, Carol Cycus, Elma Hogg and Catherine McCallister, all of Lubbock, Judy Crowley and Peggy Sellers, both of Ralls, Sharon Douthitt of Crosbyton and Carlene Harvey of Madill, Okla.; a sister, LaVerne Enger of Lubbock; a brother, Truman of Ridgecrest, Calif.; 34 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
