Funeral services for Dennis Miller, 14, of Lorenzo were at 2 p.m. Friday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Lacy, pastor, and the Rev. James Inger of Lubbock, both officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

The youth died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday in Methodist Hospital at Lubbock from injuries he had received in a hunting accident near here that morning.

He had lived in Lorenzo all of his life where he attended school.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Floyd Miller of Lorenzo; a grandmother, Mrs. B. C. McKinney of Spur; six brothers, Joe Bob and Donald, both of Whitesboro, Dwayne of Lubbock, R. E. of Slaton and Harold of Abernathy; 10 sisters, Tammy and Lorie, both of the home, Judy Crowley and Peggy Sellers, both of Ralls, Sharon Douthit and Elma Hogg, both of Lubbock, Shirley Douthit of Arlington, Carol Caps of Mt. Pleasant, Katerine McAllister of Acuff and Carlene Adams of Collinsville.

The brothers were pallbearers.
