Graveside services for Bruce Allan McKinney, 20, of Acuff, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 1998, at Lorenzo Cemetery, with Jack Thompson of Buffalo Lake officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

McKinney died Monday, Oct. 12, 1998, at his Acuff residence.

He was born Oct. 21, 1977, in Abilene.

He was a Baptist and attended Roosevelt schools and Littlefield schools, where he played football and baseball. He moved to Acuff two years ago from Littlefield.

He is survived by a son, Dakota Allan McKinney of Littlefield; a daughter, Callie of Lubbock; his mother, Sheila McKinney of Acuff, his father, Jack McKinney Jr., also of Acuff; his grandparents, Jo Ann McKinney of Slaton and Bill and Jenell Woodell of Lubbock; one brother, Roy-Jack McKinney of Lubbock; and one sister, Teresa Kay McKinney of Lubbock.
