ACUFF (Special) - Services for Lois Lorene Bowers McGee, 83, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Roosevelt Baptist Church with the Revs. Jess Smith, pastor, and Oscar Newell, pastor of Buffalo Springs Community Church, officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. McGee died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock's University Manor Nursing Home after an illness.
She was born in Huckabay and married Elbert Glen McGee on July 10, 1929, in Crosbyton. He died on Oct. 6, 1981. She was a member of Roosevelt Baptist Church and served 37 years in the church nursery. A daughter, Ovie R., died on Oct. 5, 1933.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy of Rogers and Fred of Lubbock; a daughter, Ginger Jordan of Lorenzo; seven grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
