Ralls (Special) - Paul B. Marlar, 67, of Lorenzo, died at 3 p.m. Thursday at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo. Officiating will be the Rev. John Jenkins, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Cecil Foster of Lamesa, and the Rev. James Holman, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Lorenzo.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

A native of Ben Lomond, Ark., Marlar was a resident of Lorenzo since 1936, moving from Dimmitt.

Survivors include his wife, Lannie Ruth (Johnson); a son, Bricky (Clifford D.) of Odessa; three daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Jo) Hayden, of Moore, Okla., Mrs. Ronald (Glenna) Smith and Mrs. Jerry (Novice) Bartlett, both of Petersburg; four brothers, Hal, of Granbury, TX, Tommie of San Antonio, TX, Venoie of Jal, NM, and Cody of Lorenzo, TX; three sisters, Mrs Wylie (Ruby) Smith of Andrews, TX, Mrs. Claudia Cox and Miss Bonnie Ruth Marlar, both of Lubbock; and eight grandchildren
