Lee S. Mackey Rites Planned
LORENZO (Special) Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ here for Lee Shackleford Mackey, 68, who died at his home at 7:40 a.m. Sunday following a long illness.
He was a native of Lone Oak and had lived on the South Plains most of his life.
Officiating at services will be Travis Boyd, minister of the Acuff Church of Christ, assisted by Joseph Johnston, minister of the Church of Christ here, and the Rev. David Miller, pastor of the Estacado Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home, Ralls.
Pallbearers will be J. D. Henry, Chester Henry, Buster Smith, C.D. Andrews, Calvin Miller and A. J. Jackson.
Surviving are Mackey's wife, Leona, and two sons, Leon of Fulton and Ronnie of the home; a stepson, Ernest C. Rector, 1831 E. 2nd St., Lubbock; a daughter, Barbara Sue, of the home; a brother, Elbert, of Dublin; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Dooley, Lone Oak, and three grandchildren.
