Services for Roy David Lobstein, 85, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Mar. 4, 1994, in the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo with the pastor, Rev. Rick McGee, officiating.

Burial in Lorenzo Cemetery was directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Lobstein died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 1994, at his residence Southeast of Lorenzo. (He was pronounced dead by JP James Isbell.)

He was born on Oct. 18, 1908, in Coleman and married Mildred Alice Lane on June 9, 1928, in Lorenzo. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Cisco, where he lived until moving to Lorenzo in 1991. He was a retired butane truck driver.

He is survived by four daughters, Frances Garner of Wiley, Opal Johnson and Elaine McClain, both of Cleburne, and Christine Chandler of Lorenzo; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
