Services for Mrs. Maggie L. Landmon, 60, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. H.G. Verner of Petersburg.
Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Landmon died Saturday in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Red Oak, Ga., Mrs. Landmon had been a South Plains resident since 1930. She moved to this area from New Mexico.
Survivors include her husband Agee; a daughter, Wanda of the home and a brother, Milton Turner of Lovington, New Mexico.

Services for Iva "Agee" Landmon, 88, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
He died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
He was born July 18, 1913, in Montague County.
He married Maggie Lee Turner on Sept. 4, 1937, in Crosbyton. She died July 3, 1976. He moved to Lorenzo in 1916 and worked for the Lorenzo school system, for Tommy Fondren, at the cotton warehouse and for Criswell Oil.
He was a blacksmith, a poet and a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lorenzo Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years.
An infant son, W.E., also preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda, of Lorenzo.
