LORENZO (Special) - Services for Lorraine Harris Kirksey, 69, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today at Lorenzo First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sidney Parsley, pastor, and the Rev. Bill Lacy, pastor of Lorenzo First Baptist Church, both officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Kirksey died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at West Texas Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The Bell County native married J.M. Kirksey May 9, 1929 in Lubbock. He died in 1978. Mrs. Kirksey had been a South Plains resident since 1923, moving here from Killeen.

Survivors include a son, Jack Harris Kirksey of Lorenzo; three brothers, Vol Reed Harris Jr. of Victoria, Jack Harris of Zavalla and Harold Harris of Austin; a sister, Mrs. John Burns of El Paso; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
