LORENZO (Special) - Services for Troy Jones, 85, of Lorenzo will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lorenzo Church of Christ with the Rev. Travis Boyd, minister, officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Jones died Tuesday morning in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Fayetteville, Ark. and moved to the South Plains in 1907. He moved to Lorenzo in 1934. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include two sons, Bill of Lubbock and Ray of Coushatta, La.; a brother, Jimmy of Ralls; a sister, Mary L. Nielson of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
