Services Set Today For Margie Jones
Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Marcelle Jones, Lorenzo, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in the First Methodist Church of Lorenzo. Mrs. Jones died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after an extended illness.Officiating will be Rev. Marvin Fisher of Lubbock, assisted by Joseph Johnston, Lorenzo Church of Christ minister.
Born December 23, 1922, Mrs. Jones had resided in Crosby County all her life.
She is survived by her husband, J.C. Jones; a son, Richard Walter of the home; a daughter, Donna Jean of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Bolander of Mira Loma, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Meek of Brownfield and Mrs. Billy Kirk of Floydada.
Burial will be in Lorenzo cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
