Obituary
LORENZO (Special) - Graveside services for J.C. Jones, 86, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.Jones died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.
He was born Dec. 5, 1912, in Monroe County, Miss. He married Margie Marcelle Edwards on July 29, 1946, in Dickens County. She died Oct. 22, 1963. He married Hazel Ruth Hancock Ogle on Feb. 14, 1974, in Lorenzo. She died Aug. 14, 1996. He was a tractor mechanic in Crosbyton. He was a shop foreman for Hurst Farm Supply Co. for 30 years. He moved to Crosbyton in 1927. He was a Methodist. Two stepsons, Charley Ray Ogle and Julian Ogle, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Richard W. of Longview, Calif.; two daughters, Marje Bolander of Riverside, Calif., and Donna Burns of Plainview; a stepson, Jodie K. Ogle of Brownfield; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
