Services for Peggy Sue Hubbard, 58 of Lorenzo was at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. She died Monday, February 14, 2005 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born September 4, 1946 in Baird, Texas to Benton Alton and Oma Lee (Brickey) Brown. On March 31, 1962 she married Billy Dale Hubbard in Tahoka. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1998.
She was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She moved to Lorenzo in 1966.
Survivors include; three daughters and their husbands; Karen and Adam Garcia of Idalou, Patricia and Adam Garcia of Ralls, Sandra and Esteban Garcia of Idalou, her mother; Oma Brown of Lorenzo, five brothers; Alton Brown, Jr. Brown and Jimmy Brown all of Lorenzo, Richard Brown of Lubbock and George Brown of Idalou, six grandsons; Joshua, Michael, Estevan, David, Sammy and Paul.
