LORENZO (Special) - Services for Mrs. Etta Lee Hood, 80, of Lorenzo are set for 11 a.m. today in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Hollis Payne, an evangelist from Floydada, officiating, and the Rev. Gerald Mounce, assistant pastor, assisting.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Hood died about 11 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary´s Hospital in Lubbock.

A native of Red River County, she married William P. Hood Sept. 14, 1913, at Johntown. He preceded her in death in 1961. She had lived in Lorenzo since 1934 when she moved here from Spur.

Survivors include three sons, Sam of Lubbock, Buford of Dallas and Billy of Lorenzo; a daughter, Mrs. James Huckabee of Lorenzo; a brother, Eugene Hawkins of Johntown; a sister, Mrs. Henry Dryden of Longview; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
