Gary E. Hancock, 70, of Lorenzo, passed away on Fri day, May 11, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2012, at Lorenzo Methodist Church under the personal care of Adams Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating and Rev. Cam Givan assisting.

Gary was born in Crosbyton, on February 9, 1942, to William Ray and Pauline (Ogle) Hancock. On September 2, 1961 he married the love of his life Susie Chastain. Gary loved his family and always found a way to make each member feel like the most important person in the world.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Pauline Hancock, two brothers, Donald and Keith Hancock, one sister, Charlotte Hancock.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Hancock of Lorenzo, one son, Tristan Gary Hancock and his wife JuDee Jene of Canyon, TX, one brother, Terry Hancock of Alvarado, Tx, one sister, Shirley Maze of Lubbock, three loving grandchildren, Kelsi Hancock, Kami Hancock and Spencer Hancock.
