LORENZO (Special) - Graveside services for Paul M. "Dick" Gunnels, 75, of Freeport will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lorenzo Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Golden, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died at 10:1 a.m. Thursday at his home in Freeport after a lengthy illness. Justice of the Peace Harold Ammonds ruled that he died of natural causes.

He was born in Bell County. He was a former resident of Lorenzo. He married Frotilla Kittrell Dec. 21, 1935, in Lubbock. He was a retired painter. He was Methodist.

Survivors include his wife; and two sisters, Adella Gunter and Mae Smith, both of Austin.
