LORENZO (Special) - Services for Robert E. Guess Jr., 68, of Lorenzo, will be at 2 p.m. today in Lorenzo United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kiel Quiesenberry, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor of the First Baptist Church here.

Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

Guess died at 9:45 p.m. Monday in Lubbock´s West Texas Hospital following a short illness.

A native of Abilene, Guess had been living in West Texas since 1947. He was a farmer. On Nov. 29, 1935, he married Dimple Aycock in Ardmore, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Tommy McGee of Lorenzo; a brother, James H. of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Ward of Springfield, MO.; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Clyde Crump, Willard Rainwater, Fred McGee, Lewis Morrison, Henry Taylor, Edward Jordan, Billy Joe Woods, Allen Ross, Lester Cowan and J. W. Cannon.
