LORENZO (Special) - Services for Mae Ella Guess, 86, of Lorenzo will be at 11 a.m. today in Ralls Carter-Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clee Haley, pastor of Lubbock Oakwood Baptist Church, officiating.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery.
She died at 3:11 p.m. Thursday in Lubbock St. Mary of the Plains Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She moved to Lorenzo in 1942 from San Antonio. She had attended beauty and manicurist schools. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of San Antonio.
Survivors include a son, Charles of Lubbock; a sister, Fay Horton of San Antonio; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
