Services for Lillian Itasca Gregory, 85, of Lorenzo were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 1990, in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Golden, pastor, Norris Taylor, interim pastor of Idalou First Baptist Church, and John Jenkins, a retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 1990 in Lubbock Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Runnels County and moved to the Lorenzo area in 1911. She married Tom Franklin Gregory on Feb. 8, 1933, in Idalou. He died in 1989. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, O. L. "Orvin" of Lorenzo; a daughter, Vonda Tatkenhorst of Idalou; a brother, Elmer Grace of Lubbock; a sister, Etta Banker of Idalou; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Andy Adams, Richard Fikes, Herschel Bird, James O´Rear, Harold Campbell and Max Joiner.
