Services for Lillian R. Golihar, 83, of Abernathy were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 1989, in the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Allen Shiegal, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Chambers Funeral Home.

She died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 1989, in Lubbock Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Merkel and moved to Abernathy in 1979. She owned a laundromat in Snyder until 1978. She married Everett Golihar on Oct. 7, 1949, in Snyder. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Morris Frances of Conroe; a sister, Ada Stallings of Abernathy; two brothers, Lowell Beaty of Wolfforth and J. D. Beaty of Bastrop; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Nephews were pallbearers.
