Pauline left this life Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, in the Crosbyton Hospital for a joyous reunion in heaven with her Jesus and her loved ones.Pauline was born Aug. 16, 1910, in Childress to Clifford and Alice Bradshaw. She graduated from Childress High School and married Lindsay Fisher on March 29, 1930. They moved from Childress to Lorenzo in 1953 and farmed there until moving to Knox City, Texas, to enjoy their retirement years fishing at Lake Stamford. Lindsay died Dec. 1, 1984. Pauline devoted her life to her family, friends, and church. She spent many hours sewing and crocheting, but her life was fullest when she could spend hours of each day in her yard working in her flowers and garden.
She was honored by her community for her beautiful yard. A member of First Baptist Church in Knox City, she had moved to Ralls in March 2003. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Burma Niell, in February 1993, and a great-grandson, Dane Parrish, in May 1981.
She is survived by her son, Glen and daughter-in-law Linda of Sonora, Texas; her daughters, Joan and son-in-law Pat Yoakum of Cone, Texas, Mary and son-in-law Walter Rauch of San Angelo, and Kay and son-in-law Bill Ardis of Garland; 10 grandchildren, Patti (Yoakum) and Rick Ketron, Roger Yoakum, Barry and Debbie Niell, Paula (Niell) and Tracy Parrish, Michael and Rhonda Rauch, Leah Rauch, Angela Ardis, Peggy (Ardis) and James Booth, David and Stayce Fisher, and Tammy Fisher; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- granddaughters. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lorenzo Cemetery with Rev. Rick Ketron officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home in Ralls
